Bible Comics

     Dr. Michael Karimattam is a distinguished Catholic Priest from the Archdiocese of Thalassery, Kerala, India. He was born in 1942, ordained in 1968. His profound understanding of the Bible is rooted in extensive academic pursuits, including a Licentiate in Theology from the Pontifical Urban University, Rome, and a Doctorate in Bible from the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome.   

     Beyond his academic achievements, Dr. Michael Karimattam has dedicated his life to sharing biblical knowledge. He served as one of the chief editors of the revered POC Bible, spent 15 years as the director of the Bible Apostolate, Thalassery, and four years as the principal of Divine Bible College, Muringoor. From 2002 to 2022, he imparted his wisdom as a Bible instructor at Mary Matha Major Seminary, Thrissur. He was honored with the honorary title of ‘Malpan’, or 'Distinguished Teacher of Faith', for his commendable contributions in sharing the Good News from the Major Arch Bishop George Alanchery, head of Syro Malabar Catholic Church.
